  4. Release 6.01 of the DEWAR utilities includes the following programs:

  30. Documentation

  33. If any of the utilities is loaded with no parameters, then it automatically
  34. displays full documentation. For most of the utilities, this is a single
  35. screen of information, and it can be printed using Shift PrtSc. For some
  36. of the utilities, the documentation is more extensive, and menu driven
  37. interactive documentation is provided. These programs will print out a fully
  38. formatted manual on request.

  41. Distribution Policy
  42. -------------------

  44. The DEWAR utilities are licensed as a package for use on one computer at
  45. any one time. The cost of a single license is $40, site licences can be
  46. arranged (details available on request). You should not transfer the
  47. programs to anyone else except on the following basis:
  48.  
  49.   The entire package (i.e. a copy of the original diskette, including this
  50.   notice) may be given to another person provided that it is expressly made
  51.   clear that this is a trial version.
  52.  
  53.   In the event that you have received the package on this basis, then you
  54.   may use it for a reasonable period of time to evaluate it. If it proves
  55.   useful, then you should send a check for $40 to the address below, whereupon
  56.   you will be registered as an official user. In this case you should note the
  57.   version of the package (as given in the first line of this documentation file)
  58.   with the order, and if it is not the latest up to date version, you will
  59.   receive the latest version.

  61. All registered owners of the package will be notified of new versions as they
  62. become available, and will have the opportunity to upgrade for a modest fee.

  80. The latest version (6.02) of the editor DVED is also included in the package.
  81. Unlike the remaining utilities in the package, DVED, although copyrighted and
  82. not "public domain" as such, may be freely distributed. I would appreciate
  83. your efforts in helping to eliminate out of date copies of DVED on bulletin
  84. boards, PC library disks etc.

  87. Suggestions and Error Reports

  90. Suggestions for improvements and additional utilities are welcome. Please send
  91. them to the above address. Also send to this address details of any errors
  92. you discover in the utilities. If you are the first to discover the error,
  93. you will receive a free updated version which corrects the error.
